MESSAGE TO THE RESIDENTS
RECENTLY THERE HAVE BEEN MANY WARNING AND SUSPENSION LETTERS ISSUED FOR UNSAFE BEHAVIOR OR UNDERAGE USE OF THE FACILITY AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER.
THE MASTER BOARD DOES NOT WANT TO BECOME A PUNITIVE ENTITY.
WE STRIVE FOR HARMONY AND GOOD RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE RESIDENTS AND TRY TO BE SERVICE ORIENTED.
DUE TO THE WAY WE ARE STAFFED, WE DON'T HAVE THE LUXURY OF A LIFEGUARD IN OUR POOL AREA OR ON-SITE SAFETY AND SECURITY MONITORS IN OUR FITNESS CENTER OR OTHER AREAS OF THE COMMUNITY CENTER GROUNDS. WE DEPEND ON CAMERAS FOR THAT.
THE POOL/SPA RULES THAT ARE POSTED ARE IN ADHERENCE WITH THE SARASOTA COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT'S SAFETY REGULATIONS AND GUIDELINES.
THE RULES FOR USE OF THE EXERCISE ROOM ARE ALSO POSTED AND STATE NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 SHOULD USE THE EQUIPMENT.
WE AGAIN ARE BEING SAFETY ORIENTED AND ARE ALSO REPLACING SOME OF THE OLDER MACHINES TO BETTER SERVE OUR RESIDENTS.
THE PICKLEBALL COURTS ARE BEING USED TO THE ENJOYMENT OF OUR RESIDENTS. ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT STATED HOW MANY GUESTS ARE ALLOWED, A MEMBER HAS TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE GATE. IT WOULD NOT BE APPROPRIATE TO ADVERTISE FOR MORE PLAYERS TO FORM A LARGE LEAGUE.
THE MEMBER DUES SUPPORT THE MAINTENANCE OF THE FACILITY FOR OUR EAST VILLAGE RESIDENTS.

The East Village Master Association consists of the six individual homeowner associations of Heron Lakes (condos), Heron Shores (maintenance free), Willow Springs (maintenance free), Village Run, Quail Lake, and Meadow Run. They are deed restricted communities located on the beautiful Southwest Coast of Venice Florida, consisting of four hundred and seventy-one (471) homes with folks from all over the United States and internationally.
The six communities are dotted with seven lakes throughout the homes and conservation land abutting the Alligator Creek - Lemon Bay Watershed. There’s a wonderful bike and walking path allowing you to view great wildlife and native Floridian birds from our Bird Sanctuary. A ten-minute drive will bring you to several beaches, plus a short distance to public golfing. A yacht club and boat rentals are available on Venice Island. The Venice Jetties allow great pictures of sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico, dolphins and an occasional manatee.
Our Recreation Center is open from 7:00am until dusk seven days a week. It sports four separate buildings which host a large Clubhouse available for private functions, a Fitness Center, Card Room, Library and the Association Office. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and include two tennis courts, two pickleball courts, a large heated pool and spa, a basketball hoop with pad, tournament held shuffle boards, and ample parking.
